Elisa Giaccardi is an Associate Professor in the Institute of Culture and Technology at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. Elisa is currently editing a book for Routledge on heritage and cultures of participation, and is Forum Editor for ACM interactions on heritage topics.

Elizabeth F. Churchill is a Principal Research Scientist at Yahoo! Research in Santa Clara, CA where she manages the Internet Experiences research group. Elizabeth writes a column for ACM interactions, and is the current VP of ACM SigCHI. Her current research includes digital archives, social media, and technologies of memory.

Sophia B. Liu is a recent graduate of the Technology, Media and Society PhD program at University of Colorado at Boulder. Her dissertation focused on social media use around historic crises and the emergence of grassroots heritage practices. She is currently a Mendenhall Post-doctoral research fellow at the U.S. Geological Survey investigating crowdsourced geographic information.
